SCHEDULE CHANGES: Schedule changes will only be considered if a student didn't receive any of their first or second elective choices from their forecasting sheets turned in last school year. Please email Ms. Wilson at mwilson5@pps.net if you have any other questions.

LOCKS FOR LOCKERS: Students must keep their backpacks in their lockers. There are still 102 students remaining without a lock to secure their locker. If it is a hardship to purchase a lock, the main office does have locks that they can loan out for the year. Please have your student come ask for one!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

This school year the da Vinci Musical will take place in the Fall and the play will take place in the Spring. The musical selected is the junior edition of The Prom, with performances taking place the first two weekends in November. It promises to be a wonderful experience for participants and audiences alike!

AUDITION PACKETS ~ DUE BY MONDAY, SEPT 8th. 

The audition packets can be picked up by your student outside of rooms 305/306 and need to be read by parent and student, filled out, signed by parent and student, and returned to Ms. Accuardi.  

WORKSHOPS 

Workshops to learn the music begin next Tuesday, 9/2, after school in the drama rooms (305/306) from 4:15-6:15pm. Please attend if interested in auditioning. 

AUDITIONS 

All students interested in performing in this show must complete a singing audition and a dance audition. Students must sign up for auditions outside of rooms 305/306. 

• Singing Auditions are 9/8 - 9/10 in the drama rooms (305/306) from 4:15 - 6:15.
• Dance Auditions are on 9/11 after school in the gym from 4:15 - 6:15.

ATTENDANCE AND SCHEDULE CONFLICTS

• It is imperative that the musical schedule be examined before auditions for any conflicts your student may have. There is a section in the packet for Mandatory Attendance, where students are not excused from those rehearsals or performances listed for reasons other than illness or emergencies. 

MOVING TO MIDDLE SCHOOL 2026-27

Middle School Lottery Dates: November 12th, 2025 - December 12th, 2025

This is the period for lottery applications to be submitted for the 2026/2027 school year. Once the District assigns the date for da Vinci to host a Family Information Night, we will be sure to add it here and to the website calendar. You don't need to attend the Family Information Night to apply, but it's the only time to tour the building. You will also learn about what makes da Vinci unique in its' art-focused curriculum, as well as be treated to some student performances.

Congratulations to Lincoln High School students Richard Deng and Coral Platt! Both were awarded National Merit Scholarships of $2,500 toward their college studies.

They were chosen from more than 15,000 finalists nationwide. Richard plans to pursue a career in politics and Coral is looking at a future in the legal sector.

Two exceptional 欧美巨乳色情片 educators, Ricardo Barber and Hang Jones, were recently named OnPoint Educators of the Year for 2025.

As part of this prestigious honor, both teachers will have their rent or mortgage paid for an entire year, and their schools also receive a $2,500 donation. 

Ricardo Barber teaches third grade at Faubion, and Hang Jones serves as a social worker at Marysville Elementary. 

The OnPoint Prize for Excellence in Education celebrates educators who embrace innovative teaching techniques that ignite enthusiasm in their students. 

Congratulations to Ricardo Barber and Hang Jones! And thank you both for everything you do to make a difference in the lives our students.

The assignment their teacher gave them was simple – make a short film that begins with a phone call and ends with someone hanging up. Benson first-year students Dylan Martinez-Torres and Dariel Soriano Zamora ran it all the way to a small city populated by two very big and rather iconic monsters – Godzilla and Hedora.

The result, Sorry, Wrong Number, is one of the more than 90 films entered into the annual Best of 欧美巨乳色情片 Film Festival. The festival is a celebration of exceptional student filmmaking that includes a showcase at the historic Hollywood Theatre. 

The fourth annual installment of the festival took place on May 21 and included a screening of 13 standout films. The films came from all over 欧美巨乳色情片 and ran the gamut from Dylan and Dariel’s monster short to documentaries, film noir, and broadcast journalism. 

If you are a passionate student or community member that wants to make a difference at 欧美巨乳色情片, apply to join the Climate Crisis Response Committee! This is a committee that reports to the 欧美巨乳色情片 Board of Education.

On the committee you will learn about how 欧美巨乳色情片 is making progress towards our climate justice and sustainability policies, provide input and recommendations to the 欧美巨乳色情片 Board on how to better support 欧美巨乳色情片 staff as we advance these policy goals, and connect with other passionate members of our 欧美巨乳色情片 community from diverse backgrounds, knowledge areas, and lived experiences.

No previous professional experience in climate change or sustainability required! Students can apply . Community members can apply .
