    Students will come to the library with their class or with a pass during the school day.

     

    Checking Out & Returning Books

    Kindergarten: One book at a time. This book remains in the classroom. 

    1st grade: Students can take home one book each week.

    2nd grade: Students can take home up to two books. 

    3rd grade: Students can take home up to three books.  

    4th grade: Students can take home up to four books. 

    5th grade through 8th grade: Students can take home up to five books.

    Students may borrow books for 2 weeks, plus renewals (unless someone else places a HOLD on the book). Students will return their books to the library. Please contact me if you would like your child to borrow more books at a time.

    Throughout the school year you may receive an email indicating that your child has an overdue or lost book. This comes from our automated software and serves as a courtesy reminder. 

    There are no late fees. Fees are only charged if a book is lost or damaged beyond repair. You will be charged for the cost of replacement. You may make payments through School Pay. Contact me if you need assistance with fees.
